Book Hotels in Lizard Head Trail, AZ

"The location is awesome, the property is quiet and beautiful, the staff is friendly and the shared amenities are wonderful - we truly enjoyed all of those aspects of our stay. But the actual rooms leave much to be desired - they are very dated but mostly clean (except for the carpet and sofa - eeww) and they have glass block windows with an exterior light right located next to them but no shade to cover them so your room is never dark when you are trying to sleep. And you can't close the bedroom door to shut out the light because then thermostat doesn't realize how warm it is in your bedroom compared to the room where the sensor is, so we got very little restful sleep. Also, no one mentioned that check out time is 10am (the earliest I've ever heard of) and that your room key automatically deactivates at 10:15am so you can't get back in without walking to the front desk in 90 degree heat. Unfortunately, those three things really ruined what otherwise would have been a place we'd return to again and again..."

"The Staff tried as people. As employees, they were forced to push a timeshare presentation on guests who may not even qualify. And promise rewards for attendance that they never give you after pporly screening their invited guests. The appointment takes nearly an hour to get to oneway and guests aren't compensated at all then. Cancel insured stay reservations due to late flight arrivals. Refuse clean towel services in a 5 day stay for 2. Their tv and internet went down due to unexpected events and they had trouble getting it fixed. And they can't reserve a stay from the desk either. They have one front desk lady who is very rude and dismissive as if questions bother her and she doesn't know anything about diabetic diets because she gave out sugar when asked for coffee sweetener. And their software or computer system scrambles last names that include a space or multiple capital letters in the spelling, they lose your booking, email, phone number and contact info over and over also because their system doesn't coordinate well to Expedia. And while guests waste their time at the desk and with staff addressing these time su king multiple flaws .... staff can not or doesn't offer much but an I'm sorry. And if they say they'll try to see what can be done to offer some consolation or improved service and they'll call when they find anything out... don't hold your breath. They never call OR email."

"I love Sky Ranch, beautiful setting, great amenities, love the Airstream restaurant and bar! Supe good value. Rooms are nice!"

"Breakfast was great. There is a continental basic breakfast included for free but you can opt for anything else on their menu & they credit you $5.99 towards a hot fresh breakfast w eggs & bacon with coffee. Everything was very clean & modern. Spacious room & front desk was very nice. Great bakery w good coffee shop across the street. "
